Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 24/7 emergency department setting, managing a wide range of cases from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma situations
- Collaborate with specialty support teams including Heart & Vascular, Neurosciences, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and Surgery
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care needs in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Adhere to facility attendance and scheduling policies, including a strict attendance policy requiring consistent shift coverage
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Skills checklist completed within one year of application is required
- Must live at least 35 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience working within a large health system environment
