Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
- Float between two local emergency department locations as needed
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid in the state of Florida or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent emergency room experience
- Ability and willingness to float between two designated emergency department locations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working night shift in a high-volume emergency department
- Familiarity with trauma or Level II/III emergency care environments
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in acute care settings
