Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during overnight shifts
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Utah or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Must meet all travel contract compliance and credentialing requirements prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma Emergency Department
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
- Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills in emergent situations
