Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Alternating 36/48-hour weeks | 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Room environment
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Work a rotating schedule of 36 and 48-hour weeks on day shifts
- Fulfill a minimum of 12 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per contract term
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room setting
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Current PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care environment
