Contract | Days | 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | 36 hours guaranteed per week | Sunday – Saturday work week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting within a critical access hospital
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient information, assessments, and interventions using Trubridge charting system
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior emergency room nursing experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Trubridge electronic charting
- Local travelers are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a critical access hospital environment
- Strong triage assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to manage high patient volumes and acuity levels effectively
