Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Intermittent weekend coverage required | No on-call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency room environment, including Level I or II trauma cases
- Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Administer blood products and IV vasopressors per clinical protocols
- Manage ventilated patients in collaboration with the care team
- Float within the hospital as needed based on unit demands
- Work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN License (required at time of submission)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS (must be submitted at time of application)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience; 18 months may be considered for candidates from a like facility
- Level I or II trauma experience required
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Any candidate who has worked at this facility as a permanent employee must have been separated for at least 6 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification preferred
- TNCC certification preferred
- 2 supervisor references preferred
