Key Responsibilities
Triage patients according to care requirements and acuity level upon arrival to the Emergency Department
Provide ongoing assessment, immediate interventions, and monitoring for patients presenting with urgent, critical, or non-urgent conditions
Deliver emergency care across a broad patient population including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Collaborate on an inter-disciplinary level with adult-age patients and interact appropriately based on individual intellectual level and physical ability
Provide discharge teaching and education to patients and families prior to release
Required Qualifications
Active Massachusetts RN License required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
CPI or MOAB certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
Experience caring for diverse patient populations including pediatric and geriatric patients
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
