    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
    • Complete required facility modules during orientation as assigned
    • In the event of an emergency or disaster, report as assigned by unit management, which may include remaining at the facility until the event passes or serving as part of a relief team
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license — Compact or Louisiana state license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI (CPI must be obtained prior to start if not already held)
    • AHA certifications required
    • Up-to-date NURSYS report required (within 4 weeks of submission date)
    • Must live more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from address on driver's license to facility address) — local travelers are not accepted
    • Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have been separated for a minimum of 1 full year before being eligible to return as a traveler
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in high-acuity or Level I/II trauma emergency environments
    • Familiarity with facility-based onboarding and module completion processes
    • Strong communication and adaptability skills in high-pressure situations
