Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients across a range of acuity levels
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling as required
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Adhere to all facility compliance, scheduling, and float policies as outlined in the assignment agreement
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC
- Must wear solid royal blue scrubs
- All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; post-submission RTO may not be considered
- Locals within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Epic EMR charting system
- Experience working in a high-volume acute care emergency department
- Demonstrated flexibility with variable shift start times and scheduling demands
