Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Variable Start Times (1500 or 1900) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and unit-specific procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC
- Must wear solid royal blue scrubs
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of initial submission; post-offer RTO may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
- Experience managing high-acuity emergency patients across variable shift schedules
