Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes throughout the shift
- Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including rotating weekend and holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact equivalent
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Availability for every other weekend and every other holiday as required by the facility
- Note: Time-off requests and scheduling requests cannot be pre-approved for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
- Experience with high-acuity and trauma patients
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
