Key Responsibilities- Deliver age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process
- Provide nursing care in accordance with Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care
- Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other levels of staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active ACLS certification required prior to contract start date
- Active BLS certification required prior to contract start date
- Active PALS or ENPC certification required prior to contract start date
- Active NRP certification required prior to contract start date
- If any required certifications are not yet active, a booked course must be confirmed at time of Clinical Orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting
- Experience with patient delegation and nursing leadership responsibilities
