Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe, and appropriate patient care
- Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
- Maintain accountability for patient care outcomes within the unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or a compact license accepted by California
- Emergency Room clinical experience
- Ability to report to the designated onsite location at 7:00 AM on the first day of assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity emergency department setting
- Familiarity with patient ratios in step-down or telemetry environments
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
