Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
Support nursing leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe, and appropriate patient care
Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
Maintain accountability for patient care outcomes within the unit
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or a compact license accepted by California
Emergency Room clinical experience
Ability to report to the designated onsite location at 7:00 AM on the first day of assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a high-acuity emergency department setting
Familiarity with patient ratios in step-down or telemetry environments
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
