Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe, and appropriate patient care
• Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Maintain accountability for patient care outcomes within the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or a compact license accepted by California
• Emergency Room clinical experience
• Ability to report to the designated onsite location at 7:00 AM on the first day of assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Familiarity with patient ratios in step-down or telemetry environments
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
