Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Varied)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NRP certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with EDIS/Medhost EMR system
- Experience working in a high-acuity emergency department environment
- Strong ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4–6 effectively
