Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12–14 Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced ER environment
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Deliver trauma-informed care consistent with Level II or III Trauma Center standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities
- Expect to work some holidays as part of the assignment schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (pending license accepted at submission; must be active prior to start)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required (must be willing to obtain if offered prior to start)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience in a facility of equivalent size
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5–8 years of Emergency Room experience preferred
- Level II or III Trauma Center background strongly preferred
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records
