Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout each patient encounter
- Adhere to all facility dress code requirements; black or navy scrubs required; on-call availability may be expected
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days — no disciplinary actions or hits on state license
- Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required
- Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required
- Active TNCC certification from an approved vendor required
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency
- Must reside outside of Arizona — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience in facilities with trauma level designations and high bed counts
- Familiarity with ER skills checklists completed within the last 12 months
