Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and disposition
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC or CEN certification
- Experience with high-volume or Level II/III trauma environments
