Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation throughout the shift
- Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
- Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, subject to change based on unit need
- Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
Required Qualifications
- Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible
- Pre-assignment testing and online modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials; up to 16 hours of module time may be reimbursable
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered based on skill and experience
