    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Emergency Room setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Care for Trauma, Stroke, OB, and advanced cardiac patients
    • Administer and monitor critical drips as required by patient acuity
    • Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
    • Participate in holiday coverage, including 1–2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day (unless the unit is closed)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Iowa RN license or compact/multi-state license at time of submission
    • Minimum 24 months of current/recent Emergency Room experience
    • Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Active ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Active PALS certification (AHA or ARC)
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Competency) certification required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Recent travel nursing experience highly preferred
    • EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
    • De-Escalation Certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, or CPI) preferred; may be obtained during onboarding
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is a plus; may be obtained during onboarding
