Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being in an Emergency Room setting
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment across all phases of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team, including CNAs, LPNs, and technicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient care
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient care, condition, reactions, and response to treatment using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Charge nurse experience required
- Active Michigan RN License required
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required
- Active American Heart Association PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
