Provide professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being in an Emergency Room setting
Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment across all phases of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team, including CNAs, LPNs, and technicians
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient care
Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient care, condition, reactions, and response to treatment using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required
Cerner EMR experience required
Charge nurse experience required
Active Michigan RN License required
Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required
Active American Heart Association PALS certification required
Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
