    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 34-bed Emergency Department serving a mixed patient population
    • Manage drips and titrations in accordance with unit protocols and patient acuity
    • Maintain a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio while delivering safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the EPIC EMR system
    • Float within the freestanding Emergency Department campus as needed
    • Participate in required holiday coverage as determined by unit scheduling needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Iowa RN license or active Compact/Multistate RN license at time of submission
    • Minimum 24 months of Emergency Room / Emergency Department nursing experience
    • Must have completed a travel contract within the previous 18 months
    • Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Active ACLS certification (AHA)
    • Active PALS certification (AHA) and active TNCC certification
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (may be obtained during onboarding)
    • EPIC EMR experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
