Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Lubbock, TX

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Level II Trauma Center
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code and department-specific policies and procedures
• Commit to working designated holidays as required per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience (hard stop requirement)
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Current NIHSS and TNCC certifications
• Ability to work 6 weekends per 6-week schedule
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a short-term acute care facility with 300+ staffed beds
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center environments and protocols
• Flexibility to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
