Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00–19:30
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting for patients across all age groups
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 on days and nights, and 1:2 on weekends
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records system throughout all aspects of patient care and documentation
- Complete required onboarding modules, including UC Learning Center (UCLC) and EpicU training, during orientation
- Adhere to facility compliance standards, including timekeeping, scheduling, and time-off request policies
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN State License — must be in hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications — all must be in hand at time of application
- CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute — physical Blue Card must be in hand at time of application (MAB or Online CPI Blue certification not accepted)
- EPIC experience required — must be documented in work history
- Two supervisor references required at time of application
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPI and MAB certifications (preferred in addition to required credentials)
