    Job Title

    Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

    Location

    Lone Tree, Colorado

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 27-bed Emergency Department with a 30% admit rate and 20% ESI 2 patient volume
    • Perform procedures consistent with a Level II Trauma ED, certified chest pain center, and thrombectomy-capable stroke center
    • Deliver psychiatric and at-risk patient care with a strong focus on patient safety monitoring
    • Administer and monitor procedural sedation, primarily utilizing Propofol, Etomidate, and Ketamine
    • Engage proactively with patients and families, anticipating next steps in the plan of care and communicating in a clear, supportive manner
    • Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 under the support of a non-assignment charge nurse and available leadership coverage
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department hospital experience
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
    • CPI Blue Card required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
    • Experience with Meditech EMR (DOS platform)
    • Background working in a high-volume Emergency Department environment
