Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients across the full acuity spectrum
- Float to other Emergency Departments within the regional network as needed, with at least 2 hours' notice prior to shift
- Float to ICU in a helping-hands capacity when there is no need across any of the regional EDs
- Adhere to the facility's internal call-off policy, including weekend and holiday scheduling compliance
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado or a compact state
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Willingness and ability to float between multiple regional Emergency Department locations as needed
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience in a high-volume or Level II/III Emergency Department
- Familiarity with ICU-level care or cross-training in critical care settings
