Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a short-term acute care hospital
- Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio while delivering safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units as required
- Participate in every-other-weekend coverage as part of the standard schedule
Required Qualifications- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Ability to respond to emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
