Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process from admission through discharge
- Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum
- Document the nursing process thoroughly, concisely, and accurately
- Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status and implement physician orders as written
- Direct co-workers and delegate role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of patient care
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Ohio
- Current CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Demonstrated critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Previous nursing experience, particularly in an Emergency Department setting, preferred
