Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Emergency Department with a 1:7 patient ratio
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the full acuity spectrum
- Document patient care accurately using FirstNet (Cerner EMR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to department protocols including block scheduling and time-off request procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure (must meet state requirements)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and CPI certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Direct patient care experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with FirstNet or Cerner EMR platforms
- Familiarity with high-volume or fast-paced emergency department environments
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
