    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Maintain active certifications including ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, and CPI throughout the duration of the assignment
    • Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
    • Float to other floors as needed based on unit staffing requirements
    • Participate in emergency response protocols, which may include remaining on-site or serving on a relief team during declared emergency events as directed by unit management
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Compact or Louisiana RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
    • Active AHA-issued BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • First-time travelers will not be accepted
    • Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on your driver's license to the facility address) to be eligible
    • Current NURSYS report required — must be dated within 4 weeks of submission
    • Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have been separated for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume emergency department environment
    • Familiarity with emergency response team protocols and disaster preparedness
    • Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling, including floating to other units as needed
