Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | No on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department with a 23-bed unit
- Manage a patient ratio of approximately 4–5:1
- Perform de-escalation interventions as needed in the emergency care setting
- May be required to float to a nearby affiliated Emergency Department as needed
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN licensure required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- De-Escalation Training required
- Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Room experience
- Must live greater than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
- Familiarity with rural or community hospital environments
