Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

La Porte, IN | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 4x12s, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | No on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department with 23 beds
- Manage a patient ratio of approximately 4–5:1
- Apply de-escalation techniques as needed within the ED environment
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
- May be required to float to a nearby affiliated Emergency Department as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN licensure required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- De-Escalation Training required
- Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Room experience
- All required licenses and certifications must be submitted with application
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Familiarity with rural or community hospital environments
