Key Responsibilities
- Provide total patient care for Emergency Department patients with a 4:1 variable patient ratio
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the full acuity spectrum
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility protocols, departmental policies, and standard nursing practices
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start date
- ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP certifications required within 90 days of start
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation
