    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Kearney, Nebraska, 68845!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

    Location

    Kearney, NE

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other to every 3rd weekend rotation | Holiday rotation with team

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an emergency room setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing approximately 20 patients per day
    • Care for cardiac and telestroke program patient populations across triage, treatment, and trauma bay areas (2 triage, 5 treatment, 1 trauma bay)
    • Perform IV insertions and lab draws, requiring strong IV skills, as both Lab Techs and RNs are responsible for lab collection
    • Utilize GE telemetry and monitoring equipment, including hard-wired monitors in rooms and at the nurses' station
    • Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
    • Collaborate with a 24/7 on-site team including physicians, pharmacy, RRTs, and security
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
    • Emergency room nursing experience
    • Strong IV insertion skills; must be comfortable performing lab draws
    • Proficiency or ability to quickly learn EPIC EMR
    • Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) including weekend and holiday rotations
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with cardiac monitoring and telestroke patient populations
    • Familiarity with GE telemetry and monitoring equipment
    • Prior experience working in a trauma-designated emergency department
