    Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 38-bed Emergency Department encompassing Rapid, Main, and a psychiatric-safe pod area
    • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont rapid infusers, and chest tubes
    • Perform and assist with procedures including port placement and chest tube management
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Apply de-escalation techniques, particularly within the psychiatric-safe pod environment in accordance with unit policy
    • Fulfill weekend and holiday scheduling requirements, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays per 4-week schedule, plus 2 major and 2 minor holidays
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
    • Demonstrated prioritization and time management skills
    • Completion of a de-escalation course (CPI preferred)
    • Ability to float to a secondary Emergency Department location as needed
    • Compliance with unit dress code: navy blue scrubs
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
    • Experience working in a high-volume or multi-pod emergency department environment
    • Strong team collaboration skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
