Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification. Engage in meaningful, high-acuity patient care while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or an assigned patient group in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines to ensure comprehensive and continuous care
Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
Utilize electronic health record systems, including EPIC and Cerner, to document and manage patient information
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
Experience with both EPIC and Cerner electronic health record systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Prior acute care facility experience
