    Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite | 36 Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or an assigned patient group in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
    • Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
    • Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines to ensure comprehensive and continuous care
    • Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
    • Utilize electronic health record systems, including EPIC and Cerner, to document and manage patient information
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
    • Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
    • Experience with both EPIC and Cerner electronic health record systems
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Prior acute care facility experience
