Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, monitor, and respond to patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Perform and interpret dysrhythmia/cardiac rhythm monitoring
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in an Emergency Room setting
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Demonstrated experience with dysrhythmia interpretation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience working in high-volume or Level I/II Emergency departments
