Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across a broad acuity spectrum
- Perform and interpret dysrhythmia readings to support timely clinical decision-making
- Conduct neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and throughput in a fast-paced emergency department
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Demonstrated experience with dysrhythmia interpretation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience in a high-volume emergency department setting
