Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform triage of patients utilizing critical thinking and strong assessment skills
- Provide nursing care including IV/IO access, chest tube management, and catheterization
- Manage critical care drips and perform cardiac monitoring
- Conduct critical care assessment and management within a 16-bed Emergency Department
- Maintain a variable patient ratio of 4:1
- Document patient care using FirstNet – Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- CPI certification required (may be obtained after contract start; provided on site)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Proficiency in IV skills, cardiac monitoring, and critical care assessment and management
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with chest tube management and critical care drip administration
- Familiarity with FirstNet – Cerner EMR platform
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
