Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Nights)

Key Responsibilities- Perform triage of patients using critical thinking and comprehensive assessment skills
- Manage IV/IO access, chest tube management, urinary catheterization, and critical care drip administration
- Provide cardiac monitoring and demonstrate competency in critical care assessment and management
- Deliver nursing care within a 16-bed Emergency Department at a variable 4:1 patient ratio
- Document patient care accurately using the Cerner (FirstNet) EMR system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- CPI certification required (may be obtained on-site after contract start)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Demonstrated competency in IV skills, cardiac monitoring, and critical care assessment and management
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner (FirstNet) EMR system
- Familiarity with critical care drip management in an emergency setting
