    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide emergency nursing care across adult and pediatric populations, including triage, ED holding, and urgent care settings (approximately 20% pediatric caseload)
    • Assess and manage emergent, urgent, and non-urgent conditions including chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, weakness, and traumatic injuries
    • Perform and assist with advanced clinical procedures including Chest Tube set-up and care, Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI), Cardioversion/Defibrillation, and TPA administration
    • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including LVAD/Impella, Rapid Infuser, and Cooling/Warming Blankets
    • Administer breathing treatments, perform Trach Care, and obtain 12-Lead EKGs
    • Float to sister facilities nearby as needed per assignment requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
    • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience; first-time travelers are not accepted
    • Experience in a Level II Trauma Center required
    • Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under a separate rate structure)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients in a high-volume setting
    • Familiarity with LVAD/Impella management and hemodynamic monitoring
    • Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
