Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform telephone triage for cardiology patients, assessing symptoms and determining appropriate level of care
- Communicate clinical information clearly and accurately to patients, families, and provider teams
- Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the EMR system (EPIC)
- Coordinate with providers to manage patient load and ensure timely follow-up on clinical concerns
- Operate in a fast-paced outpatient cardiology practice environment with a variable daily patient load
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a phone triage setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Background in cardiology nursing preferred
- Prior experience in outpatient or phone triage nursing roles
- Team-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated personality with strong communication skills
