Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced 65-bed Emergency Department
- Manage patients across varying acuity levels including Shock, Core, Psych, and Exam areas according to established patient ratios
- Operate and monitor equipment including Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, and Belmont Rapid Infusers
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
- Float within the department according to skill set as needed to meet patient care demands
- Adhere to dress code requirements including navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency nursing experience in a large Emergency Department
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current TNCC certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage fluctuating patient volumes and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience with Epic EMR
