Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective treatment
- Monitor and document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Respond to urgent and critical patient situations in a fast-paced emergency environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour mid shifts (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)
- Compliance with all facility health screening and credentialing requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or freestanding ER setting
- TNCC or CEN certification
- Experience with high-acuity and fast-paced emergency patient populations
