Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 28, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during peak volume)
- Perform IV starts and phlebotomy as part of routine patient assessment and treatment
- Conduct cardiac monitoring and interpretation using unit equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, and Lifepak devices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including team leads, advanced paramedics, emergency department technicians, and support staff
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Operate specialized equipment such as Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, and bedside ultrasound as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications
- Demonstrated adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong team collaboration skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a high-pressure emergency or acute care setting
- Background in emergency medicine as an RN, paramedic, or emergency technician prior to current role
- Outgoing, positive demeanor with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
