Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 40+ beds and a 4:1 patient ratio
• Perform IV starts and phlebotomy as part of routine patient assessment and treatment
• Conduct cardiac monitoring and interpretation using equipment such as cardiac monitors, EKGs, and Lifepak devices
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including team leads, advanced paramedics, and support staff across shifts
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-pressure emergency environment while maintaining patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications
• Demonstrated adaptability in a dynamic clinical setting
• Strong team-player mindset with the ability to work collaboratively under pressure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume or high-acuity emergency department
• Background in a clinical role such as RN, Paramedic, or Emergency Department Technician prior to current position
• Outgoing, positive demeanor with the ability to remain composed under pressure
