Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 40+ beds and a 4:1 patient ratio
Perform IV starts and phlebotomy as part of routine patient care
Conduct cardiac monitoring and interpretation using equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, Lifepak, and Belmont Rapid Infuser
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including team leads, advanced paramedics, and support staff across day shift operations
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications
Demonstrated adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively under pressure
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a high-pressure emergency or acute care setting
Background in a clinical role such as RN, Paramedic, or Emergency Department Technician prior to current position
Outgoing, positive demeanor with the ability to remain composed in high-acuity situations
