Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Mids (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed Emergency Department with a 1:5 patient ratio
- Manage and treat common diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic conditions
- Operate unit equipment including tele-med cart, Baxter IV pumps, and Omnicell; document care using Meditech EHR
- Provide weekend coverage, with preference for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts or a minimum of 3 weekends per month
- Float to ICU, CCU, or Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Deliver care to a diverse patient population in a family-oriented environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Experience in trauma, cardiac, and orthopedic care
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP certification preferred
- Triage experience preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech EHR
