Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: July 7, 2026 | Every other weekend required; no on-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed Emergency Room with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shift
- Perform and assist with procedures including cardioversion, central line placements, cardiac arrests, IV insertions, EKGs, pacemaker interrogation, and suture/abscess setup
- Implement Code Stroke and Code Sepsis protocols as indicated
- Utilize Phillips and GE monitors as well as Level 1 Rapid Infuser equipment in the delivery of patient care
- Document accurately using Meditech (EDM) electronic medical records system
- Float as needed to a freestanding emergency department located approximately 15 minutes away
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Strong IV skills with both adult and pediatric populations
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma experience and/or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR system
